Dr. Jessica Wood is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 20 years of experience caring for children, adolescents, and families throughout the Jersey Shore. She is the owner of Point Pediatrics in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and serves as the Medical Director for the Brielle, Bay Head, and Lavallette School Districts.

Dr. Wood earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and completed her medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by her pediatric residency at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

Throughout her career, Dr. Wood saw firsthand the connection between physical and emotional health, as well as how difficult behavioral healthcare could be for families to navigate. Inspired by the need for a more connected and collaborative approach, she created Point Wellness Co.—a boutique behavioral health practice where experienced clinicians work together to provide personalized, coordinated care.

Above all, Dr. Wood considers it a privilege to care for families through every stage of life. While she wears many hats as a physician, practice owner, and school medical director, her favorite title will always be MOM!
